The government of the Confederate States of America was sorry to hear of the tragic assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto of Pakistan.  She was truly a political princess of the world and on behalf of the State Department of the Confederate States of America, we offer our most sincere condolences to the people of Pakistan.
